Greetings, I am Captain Tobias Cook
The USS Atlantis is an online Star Trek role-playing game. The Atlantis is a Sovereign-B Class starship, Starfleet registry NX 90216, under the command of Lieutenant Commander Tobias Cook, and Lieutenant Jack Jameson
Although our main history is based within the ST realm, use a Starfleet vessel to travel through space, we also incorporate SG1 genre and the Atlantis legend. These three elements combined literally opens a myriad of possibilities with new and exciting missions which we can create, discovery and write about new worlds, species and yes, find new enemies to engage. There will also be space-time continuum problems, which may cause the Atlantis to be thrust into alternate timelines, parallel dimensions and possibly traveling to the past and future, both our own and alien as well.
We also have some Top positions still open and numerous vacancies available in all Departments including, Engineering, Flight Control, Intelligence, Marines, Medical, Operations, Science, Security and our Starfighter Wing.

This is it guys, let's get this post done. We will be on a break for a while after this post is done. I know we were going to go to another ship, but at the moment that has to be delayed due to the amount of hours I am working. If you all want to have your characters transferred to other sims that is a great option, but if not, we can remain together and get back in the sattle as soon as possible.

Alright folks,
As soon as this post is done, I will start a short one with us docking and going on a shore leave. I am not sure how long the leave will be, or what ship we will be transferring to. The leave will give us the time to make the transitions, and for us to catch our breath in reality. I don't know about you all, but I recently changed jobs, and began to work for Pepsi. I love it, but 60 hours a week is a lot for anyone, and trying to sim at the same time makes it tough. With that said, I am still here, just asking everyone to understand why it may take me a little bit to reply. Thanks again for your support in and out of character. You guys are the best.

It appears we will be going from this ship to another. I am not 100% sure of the ship class yet, but it may be the Concorde class, a flying carrier of sorts. I need each of you who is still here to send me a message telling me so, in order to have an active count when we move. Don't want to leave anyone behind.
Second, once the roll call is done, we will write the Atlantis into retirement. No one else will have this sim but us. We were only the second group to commander her, and will be the last. This sim has served us well, and has a long history. But it is with great pride, thtat I tell you, no one else can do with her what we have done.
Let's get the check in done, retire this awesome ship, and move forward with writting a new piece of history together.

I have been in deep thought as of the past few days on whether or not to keep going on the Atlantis or shut it down. Now when I say shut it down I mean close. It was brought to my attention that we should consider moving to a different class of ship and retire the Atlantis. I would like each of you to provide some input in the situation.

I have added the new mission to the site. This may be our final mission as the Atlantis. As many of you know, I also play Admiral Archer of Epsilon Force. As of late I have been thinking of focusing more on my duties as Chief of Staff for the fleet, and getting the ships back to where they belong, and make Epsilon Force the best fleet out there.
I have spoke with Admiral Koolah on the matter as well as some of the crew. Admiral Koolah has asked that we consider a change in ship/command. I am open to that, however I need to know that if we were to change from one ship to another that we would in fact post. That we would continue to recruit and grow.
However, I am strongly considering simming still, but not as a commanding officer. At least for a little while. I have enjoyed simming with you all, but lately I have been feeling as if I need to focus more on the fleet and making others better.
Any input you have is greatly appreciated. If you decide you would like to depart before the next mission begins, I fully understand.
